The Lovely One

It's widely known that The Lovely Maisy Crow is quite The Diva and in case you are wondering, that is her god given name. Actually her parents gave her the name, but everyone (most certainly she herself) has always viewed her as a gift from the heavens above. That, however is not the single point of this post. We are not only promoting her "Divaness" which speaks for itself, but introducing something to legitimize that reputation. The Lovely Maisy is an accomplished dramatic coloratura soprano in the tradition of Maria Callas. As a very young fledgling crow, she claims to have fallen while learning to fly and landed in the orchestra pit of an opera production. That just happened to have been a performance of Maria Callas in Puccini's "Tosca". The Lovely Little Maisy had never heard anything so beautiful having been born in to a culture of crows. She was rescued by a cello player in the orchestra, schooled in the art of singing, returning home only for the holidays. With that bit of history under our belts, we can now look forward to a performance of "Madama Butterfly" to be staged at the opening of The Crow Cultural Center. We have an image of "The Lovely" in rehearsal. She claims that her signature martini helps her hit the high notes!
"Don't talk to me about the rules, dear. Wherever I stay I make the goddam rules." Maria Callas
