About the Designer

L.A. Baker, the designer, creator, curator and actually now the mayor of polkadot junction comes from a dance and theatre background. She has worn many hats including that of a teacher, choreographer, clown, shuttle van driver, babysitter, proofreader, radio announcer, waitress, model and designer of home goods. That’s just to name a few of those that she will admit to(lol)! She is also a voice over artist, medical educator and Pilates instructor when not maintaining the peace at polka dot junction.

Some of these activities (most certainly not all) will be recognized in her designs. Simply add bike riding to the dance and Pilates, throw in the beach, a little coffee and a bit more wine, throw out most of the rest and you will get a feel for polka dot junction and what you will discover there.

About the Product: the product was done in very high-quality fabric! I loved the zipper access to clean the cover!
About the Print: no printing here but the design was perfectly readable.
"Love the Summer Wildflowers Bag!!!"
Hi PDJ! I recently purchased your Summer Wildflowers messenger bag and I love it!!! The colors are perfect for spring/summer. The yellow flowers look like a painting and are subdued enough that I can use it with many of my clothes. I have the mini which can fit quite a lot, a wallet, glasses, phone, a small book in the two pockets. The material was a lot sturdier than I expected and seems really durable. I think it would also make a great gift for someone that likes messenger bags but wants something more unique than you usually find. I like your shop a lot by the way!!! M.C.

The designs I like most are the ones with the BIKES. But I guess that's because I live in The Netherlands. Lots of bikes we have here! I wish you HUGE SUCCESS!!!
